What do we believe?

We believe that God the Father, in His love, sent His Son Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for our sins, to make fellowship with God possible again. Jesus, the Second Person of the Trinity from all eternity, came to earth and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on the Cross, was buried and rose again. He is our Intercessor before the Father in heaven (Heb. 7:25). He will return for His Bride at the appointed time, to take all true believers home to the place He has been preparing (John 14:2,3). The Father and the Son sent the Holy Spirit, by whose power we are saved, and in whose strength we walk day by day as we await our Lord’s return (John 14 thru 16; Romans 5 thru 8). We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to continue the work Jesus began on earth, according to John 14:12 and John 20:21. The Holy Spirit is our power to minister His gifts (Eph. 4; I Cor. 12; and Romans 12), as all true believers function as parts of His Body. Followers of Jesus Christ are called to occupy until He returns. This includes the power to be His witnesses (Acts 1:8), as co-laborers with God in His work (I Cor. 3:9). We believe that God sent not only His living Word, Jesus, but His written Word, the Bible, inspired (II Tim. 3:16) as the Holy Spirit moved upon men to convey the love of God to their fellow humans (II Peter 1:20,21). If we can answer any questions, don’t hesitate to call or write.
